Where you upload documents that contain other people's personal data, you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf.

We collect the information needed to run the Service: your account and contact details, basic usage and device information, and the documents and content you choose to submit, together with the data we extract from them. We use it to provide, secure and improve the Service, to communicate with you, and to meet our legal obligations. Depending on the activity, we rely on contract, our legitimate interests, your consent, or compliance with law. We do not use your content to train our own models, and we do not sell personal data.

We share personal data only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service — such as hosting, document and AI processing, email, messaging and monitoring providers — and where required by law. A list of these providers is available to customers on request. Our processing takes place primarily within the European Union; some providers process data in other countries, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we apply appropriate safeguards to such transfers.

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete it within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect it.

Subject to legal limits, you may request access to, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. You may also complain to a data-protection authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, your local authority. The Service uses automated processing to read and structure documents; this supports your decisions but does not make decisions about individuals on its own. The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We may update this policy and will post the new date above; material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
