Real work. The reason behind ADAM AI.

Michael Knobel owned several petrol stations. Keeping those operations running meant keeping track of what had been purchased, collected, delivered and invoiced. Each step came with its own record, and those records needed to agree.

As the work spread across stations, handling purchasing records, invoices, delivery notes and collection slips manually became unsustainable. The challenge was bigger than entering data from a single document. It was bringing the whole trail together and finding what was missing or did not match.

From an operating problem to working software.

The idea that became ADAM grew from that need. Software could bring incoming documents together, identify their information and connect related records. A purchase could be checked against a collection, a delivery against an invoice. Missing documents and differences could be brought to the team’s attention for review.

For Michael’s operations, that meant building around a complete business process: the movement of goods, the records behind it and the people responsible for checking them. Etzelpark gives a face and a place to that story. Behind the station and shop is the everyday operational work that inspired the software.

That original idea has grown beyond petrol stations into today’s ADAM AI platform, connecting business information and keeping people close to the decisions it supports.
